*Qualified sixth graders may test out of this course during 6th grade. These students will be enrolled in two electives. MS students may not, however, take two study halls.
**Qualified eighth graders may earn upper school credits in Latin I or French I
Advanced Mathematics courses are available to qualified students at each of the three grade levels. Qualified students in grade 7 and 8 may earn upper school credits in mathematics .

Co-Curricular Athletics and Clubs
The Middle School participates in a number of competitive sports in the Northern Virginia Independent Athletic Conference. Girls may try out for volleyball, basketball, cheerleading, cross country, soccer, and lacrosse. Boys may try out for soccer, basketball, cross country, baseball (8th grade boys only) and lacrosse (8th grade boys only). The Tennis Club is open to all participants. Other activities for student participation are student government and clubs based on student interest.
