For the past two years, the PTO has organized an outing to a Potomac Nationals minor league baseball game at G. Richard Pfitzner Stadium, in Woodbridge, VA. This year, on May 19, 50 members of the Trinity community, including 20 lower school students, cheered for the Nationals as they took on the Carolina Mudcats. Two TCS students threw out the “first” pitch: lower schooler Ryan Carnahan and upper schooler Marshall Williams. There was a relaxing pre-game picnic, the kids had an opportunity to run the bases, and everyone enjoyed the fireworks! Given how much fun was had on this pretty spring day at such a family-friendly venue, the plan is to have this event again next year.
