How do I obtain an application?
Applications may be downloaded, picked up in the office or mailed. If you are a homeschooling family or a family with members living in different households, be sure to request or download the appropriate supplements to the application.
Is there an application fee?
Yes, the application fee is $150 and includes the entrance testing. The fee is non-refundable.
Do we have to be Christians in order for our children to attend Trinity Christian School?
Yes, at least one of the parents needs to be a committed Christian and students applying to the upper school need to be able to give a credible profession of faith as well.
Do you accept part-time students?
Trinity Christian School admits part-time students in grades 9 through 12. Following an amended admission process part-time students may enroll in up to four individual courses. Please contact the Office of Admission for additional information.
Do you offer after school care for our children?
Trinity Christian School does not offer after school care. Carpool ends at 3:50PM and all children need to be picked up no later than 4:00PM. Some families contract with local childcare companies to pick up students during carpool.
How do we add our child’s name to the wait pool?
When a wait pool becomes necessary for a particular grade, students complete the entire application process and upon determination of eligibility students are given the option to be part of the wait pool.
Does the school require uniforms?
Yes, students in all grades wear uniforms. These may be obtained through the uniform exchange in the small stone house on Wednesday mornings between 8:00 and 8:30 and on Thursday afternoons between 2:30 and 3:45 or purchased at www.flynnohara.com.
What are the school hours?
School starts at 8:15AM and ends at 3:15PM. Morning carpool begins at 7:50 and afternoon carpool begins at 3:20. Kindergarten students are dismissed at 12:15 on Wednesdays. Kindergarten students have the option of a 2:15 dismissal. However, the 2:15 or 3:15 dismissal time must be chosen for the entire school year and may not vary from day to day.
Do you offer transportation?
TCS does not offer transportation but actively promotes carpooling by providing zip code directories to all parents and facilitating the process of organizing carpools.
Do you offer financial aid?
TCS offers needs based financial aid awarded on a first come first served basis. To be considered in the initial awards financial aid applications must be submitted in February.
