Eddie Liggitt American Idol Contestant, Season 17

Under the stage name Eddie Island, Eddie rocketed to fame last spring as he competed in Hollywood Week, Showcase Round, Top 20 solos, All-Star Duets, and Top 14 on American Idol. He sang an original song called "Stay Okay" when he auditioned in Los Angeles and performances during his exciting run on Idol included: "I'll Follow You Into the Dark" by Death Cab for Cutie, "Don't You Worry, Child" by Swedish House Mafia, "Ho Hey" by The Lumineers, and "Bennie and the Jets” by Elton John. Communications at Cedarville University and is now working as Social Media Community Manager for Carl’s Jr and Hardee’s. He lives in Nashville, Tennessee where he is continues to write songs. “Music is my life. It’s what I wake up early for and what keeps me awake at night.”
