Yesterday, Trinity's Boys and Girls Varsity Cross Country teams competed and won at the Delaney Athletic Conference Championships at Burke Lake Park in Burke, Va. The boys team won their fourth straight conference championship, and sophomore Kayla Shelkey won her race with nearly a full minute's lead on the next runner.
"I got the email at 10 o'clock in the morning," Tim said, "but it was hard to immediately get in contact with my parents. I went to the office to call them, and I got a hold of my dad first. He got emotional."
"I feel so blessed that God has brought me through this path of staying at Trinity for high school," said Sam Powers, a Trinity senior who received a Jefferson Scholarship this week.

Congratulations to Sierra Chen, who won first place in a state-wide essay competition sponsored by the Daughters of the American Revolution. This represents the third time in eight years that a Trinity Student has won the state-wide competition.
Trinity is making history again - this time at the 2016 VISAA Swimming and Diving Championship in Christiansburg, Virginia. Our students will finish up their first-ever swim season by competing with more than 600 other swimmers.

In the past eight years, students at Trinity Christian School have won local, state, and national oration and essay competitions, earning more than $19,000 in cash awards and scholarships.
